| * Began studies on the violin at the age of 4 with Cosmo Gionfriddo, and subsequently with Bohdan Markiw. Mentored by Marjorie Sherman in Viola studies starting in 1979. * Attended the Educational Center for the Arts (ECA) Magnet School for instrumental studies. *1982-84 selected to participate in the Southern Regional Youth Symphony on Viola 1984 served as "First Chair" Viola. *New Haven Youth Symphony - 1982-83-84 - serving as "First Chair" for the two latter years *1983 - elected a member of "Who's Who in Music". |
| *All State Youth Symphony -1983-84 * Accepted into Hartt Conservatory, 1983, transferred to SCSU in 1985 receiving Bachelors in Early Education. Currently in pursuit of Masters in Education. *New Haven Civic Orchestra -1984 Viola - 2004 2nd Violin *Member of a "Special Choir" that accompanied Barry Manilow 1984 *Chamber Orchestra New England Member 1985 *A licensed and board certified Kindermusik educator, teaching children from Birth to 7 in music-related activities in an educationally based curriculum since 1997 *Has given presentations on music education for the young child to other educators within the State of CT |
